Generally, weddings are a somewhat traditional and boring, yet happy affair for the bride and groom.  People come to commemorate the union of two loving people. It is full of cheers and a promise between the bride and groom that they would see each other through all of their problems through life.  However, if a bride and groom are feeling adventurous at all, they might want to invest their time and money into a Pirate Themed wedding.  The venue for this wedding would have to be a replica of a pirate ship.  What would be better in fact would be if the wedding could take place on a real ship.  The bride and groom would actually be officially married next to the steering wheel, at the head of the ship, and the visitors would be sitting facing the steering wheel.  The groom would be wearing some kind of pirate clothing, with an eye patch and a wooden leg.  The bride would be dressed in some kind of traditional 17th century dress, when pirates were very prevalent throughout the ocean.  The invitations for this type of wedding could be very fun.  If you’d like, you could go all out and, rather than traditional wedding invitations, you could send out out song cards with some kind of pirate song that sang about the location, time, and venue of the wedding.  This is sure to be an exciting and fun wedding, so send out those wedding invitations as soon as you can.  Arrrgh Matey!!
